From The Principal's Office:
Dear Parents:
Spring is in full swing! Such a beautiful, busy and buzzing time of year! It is easy for all of us to get a little "spring fever" and let schoolwork slip as a priority. Sports, social events and other activities are important to a well-rounded life style. However, as you look at the season's activities, please help your young scholars stay focused on school as their "job."
As of today, we have 14 students registered for our K4 program starting in September. We are happy and proud to have our very own faith-based and academic developmentally appropriate K4 program.
Three members of our staff and I will be attending a seminar on test analysis. Last year was the first year that this opportunity was offered. It was so highly successful that the testing company is coming to Milwaukee again. Each participating school receives the most recent test scores in various formats along with recent reports. We will be presented with a longitudinal study of our students' growth throughout their journey at St. Gabriel School. We always do well but we're always reaching higher, too.
If you haven't registered your child for the 2008-2009 school year, please do so as soon as possible. We are busy preparing and ordering materials for next year. I am happy to report that one of our grades is full for next year.
This has been such a long winter. Everyone around here is very happy to experience the Spring weather!
Dr. Judy Mortell
